Day 2: High Fashion

June 2, 2011

Okay, really, Day 2 of the 30 Day Challenge is entitled “What You Wore Today” or something like that.  I wish I could say I wear something like this everyday…

I don’t.  In fact, T-shirts and jeans/shorts/capris are the norm.  I have three kids 7 and under and am not really in the high fashion stage of my life (although I’ve never been one to spend ALOT of money on clothes).  Anyway, here are my duds.  Pretty laughable, I think, but at least I’m wearing something with buttons on it.  Forgive it for being horribly out of focus…

I did it… I wasn’t too excited about this Day, but I’m looking forward to more of the creative stuff this challenge has to offer!  If you’d like to link up your own duds, visit WhitePeachPhoto.com!

Buttons instead of a t-shirt ARE high fashion around here! And don’t disparage cotton. I love 100% cotton!
    Good job, Robin!

I, too, would love to be a Donna Reed kind of wife/mom. That dress is GORGEOUS! But I’m also loving that blouse you’re wearing. : ) I’m with Susan…buttons are not so much a part of daily life around here. Unless, of course, it’s a big ol’ shirt from the men’s department. THOSE I could live in! ; )

Also, one little question: When is there NOT laundry in the background of a mommy’s life? Does that ever really happen??? ; )

Way to be real! I’m a mommy myself and a nanny. It’s ALL about comfort and practicality these days!

Jeans and t-shirt are my standard SAHM uniform as well. 🙂 That green dress is gorgeous!

Ahh…I like that shirt! The little ruffle is cute. It’s hard to get all dressed up every day when you know you’re just going to end up dirty and playing in the backyard. I think most moms totally get that.

And now I really want to go find that pretty dress!
